Thousands of residents of Nazlet Shady village and other neighboring villages attended the funeral of conscript Maher Ragab Abdel Azim, 22, who was killed in terrorist attacks that targeted a number of checkpoints in North Sinai on Wednesday.

They chanted slogans against terrorist groups and called for bringing perpetrators to justice as soon as possible.

Minya Governor Salah el Din Ziyada, Head of Minya Secrutiy Directorate Mohamed el Helbawy and a number of security, religious and executive leaders also attended the funeral.
