Security measures have been tightened in North Sinai to foil any terrorist schemes on the anniversary of the January 25 revolution.
Exits and entrances of cities and towns of the governorate witnessed tight security measures, according to security sources.
Police set up checkpoints and deployed patrols in the province.
Also, security was tightened around public and governmental facilities.
On Monday, Egypt will mark the 5th anniversary of the January revolution.
