Cairo's Suez Bridge

Security forces were heavily deployed on the roads linking Suez with Sinai and the southern entrance of the Suez Canal on the second anniversary of removing president Mohamed Morsi from power.

Helicopters hovered in Suez's skies to comb the city and the southern entrance of the vital waterway.

Security forces stepped up their presence in front of vital facilities with roadblocks securing the city’s exits and entrances, Suez Security Director Tareq el Gazar said.
