Railway Sector in Sharqia governorate Head Farag Mohamed Farag said that the train movement on the Zagazig-Miet Ghamr line was resumed after it was halted for several hours.
The train movement stopped after there was a notification about the presence of an explosive charge planted on the rods of the trains.
Farag announced that sappers defused the explosive charge.
The general prosecution was notified to open a probe.
