Cairo Criminal Court postponed till October 18 the trial of 16 defendants of the Muslim Brotherhood group and Ultras White Knights fans over their involvement in violence and sabotage acts in the Air Defense Stadium.

At least 22 football fans were killed after police attempted to disperse fans whilst entering the Air Defense Stadium in Cairo. The fans entered the stadium to watch the game between Zamalek and ENPPI teams.

The court decided to adjourn the trial to listen to the testimonies of prosecution witnesses.
