Nag Hammadi Criminal Court delayed till May 11 the trial of 36 members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood who are accused of breaking into Farshout police station in Qena.

The decision was taken to hear the testimony of the witnesses.

The court also decided releasing one of the defendants due to his health condition.

On August 16, 2014, a number of MB members and supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi attempted to storm Farshout police station and threw Molotov cocktail bombs on a nearby veterinary unit to set it on fire.

Former member of the Shura Council, Ezzeddin el Komy, is one of the most prominent MB figures being tried in the case.
