Port Said Criminal Court has postponed the trial of 51 defendants in violence and riots outside the provincial prison in January 2013 till Sunday.

The defendants sought to attack the Port Said prison after a court ruling that sentenced criminals at Port Said Stadium massacre to death.

In January, a court sentenced 21 people to death over the 2012 Port Said stadium massacre, which left 72 dead and 254 injured. After the verdict, some people were arrested for trying to storm the prison where they thought the doomed convicts were held.
