The trial of six members of Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group over violence charges was adjourned to August 2.

The session was adjourned to hear the defense pleadings.

The indictment includes inciting violence, rioting and staging anti-state protests in Minya governorate in southern Egypt.

Two of the defendants are being tried in absentia.
