Cairo Criminal Court has adjourned until Thursday the trial of 51 defendants on charges of storming and burning Helwan Police Station in the wake of the crackdown on Muslim Brotherhood protest camps in Cairo in August 2013.
Three police officers and three citizens were killed in the attack on the police station, and 19 more were injured.
The court delayed the trial Saturday because the defendants could not be dispatched from prison.
They face charges of terrorism, sabotaging public and private property, possessing firearms and destroying police and private vehicles, plus premeditated and attempted murder.
