Cairo Criminal Court decided to postpone to January 9 the trial of former agriculture minister Salah Hilal and three others in the case known as "Agriculture Ministry bribery".

They are accused of taking bribes to legalize the status of a company owned by a businessman to seize 2,500 feddans in Wadi el Natron in Behira Governorate.

The postponement decision was made to allow the defense team to study the case.
