Kuwait City - MENA
The criminal court in Kuwait delayed the trial of 18 defendants on charges of being linked to the Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque's blast in June.
The court has originally tried 29 in the case but on Thursday it decided to release 11 defendants.
Monday's hearing was delayed to a secret session on August 16 for a testimony of a state security officer.
The 29 were accused of targeting the mosque.
The charges against the defendants include use of explosives, incitement to commit crime, and affiliation to a banned group that adopts extremist views.
The attack, which occurred in Kuwait City on June 26th, left 26 people killed and 227 others injured.
