Cairo Criminal Court on Wednesday postponed till December 15 the trial of Mohamed Rabie al-Zawahiri, the younger brother of Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, and 67 other defendants.
Al-Zawahiri and the other defendants are accused of forming an Al Qaeda-related terrorist organization aimed at targeting state facilities, the Armed Forces, police and Coptic citizens.
The court postponed the session to hear the testimony of the witnesses.
The prosecution demanded the defendants be given the harshest penalties.
