Security forces of the Libyan city of Tobruk on Saturday seized a truck loaded with a booby-trapped vehicle.
A security source said that the persons on board the truck were arrested.
The explosives in the car were estimated at four tons.
The arrestees confessed that they targeted the medical center of the city, the source added.
It added that the city was cordoned off and entering and leaving it were banned.
