Tunisian Foreign Minister Taieb Baccouche said that his country is in favor of forming a national unity cabinet in Libya.

The government should be able to prepare for a democratic transition via writing a constitution and holding elections that guarantee the security and unity of the Libyan people.

In a statement issued on Monday, Baccouche underscored that Tunisia refuses any military interference in Libya and supports efforts exerted by Libya's neighboring countries and the United Nations (UN) to reach a peaceful solution to the crisis of the Arab country.
