The Tunisian Foreign Ministry has expressed keenness on boosting relations with all Arab countries.

The remarks followed recent statements by former Tunisian president Moncef Marzouki, in which he accused the UAE of having a hand in incidents that occur in the Arab world.

The Foreign Ministry rejected such statements, which only aim to undermine strong relations between Tunisia and the UAE.

In a statement Friday, the Tunisian Foreign Ministry called Marzouki's remarks "irresponsible".
