Tunisia has ruled out participation in any military action outside the country as part of a new military alliance formed by Saudi Arabia to fight terrorism.
Minister of Interior Mohamed Najem Gharsalli said that Tunisia's participation in the Islamic military alliance will not result in taking part in any military action outside the country.
According to the Tunisian radio, Gharsalli said that the country is on high alert in order to confront all terrorist threats.
Tunisia prioritizes fighting terrorism inside the country and on borders, he said.
He noted that security forces managed to foil several terrorist plots during the past period.
