The media spokesman for Tunisian government Mofdi el Masdi dismissed press reports that Prime Minister Habib Al Sid threatened to resign after threats applied to him from certain quarters.

In statements, he said the prime minister is still in his post in line with the constitution and that no pressures on him.

He said the prime minister is holding meetings with officials on means to push forward the development process.
