Tunisian Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa attended a ceremony hosted by Bahrain Embassy in Tunis on the Kingdom's celebrations of its National Days on December 16 and 17, marking the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 43rd Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 15th Anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa’s Accession to the Throne.
The Tunisian Premier extended sincere congratulations to Bahrain leaders, Government and people, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of HM the King.
He stressed the keenness of the Tunisian Government to promote joint economic, trade, cultural and social cooperation, exchange investments and bolster fraternal relations between the two countries and peoples.
Bahrain Embassy Charge d’Affaires Khalil Ibrahim Butarada thanked Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa for the kind visit, hailing the Tunisian people for participating in Bahrain’s celebrations of its national days.
He wished Tunisia successful presidential elections and further stability, progress and prosperity, in addition to bolstering cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
