Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi today received a letter from his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas, dealing with bilateral relations binding the two countries and peoples.

Senior Palestinian Judge and President Abbas’ Advisor for Religious Affairs and Islamic Affairs delivered the letter to President Essebsi.

He briefed the Tunisian president on latest developments in the Palestinian territories and the efforts of the Palestinian leadership to advocate the legitimate cause of the Palestinian people to regain their inalienable rights and establish their independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.
