Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sultan al Jaber said on Thursday that his country's leadership is standing by Egypt, adding the strong relations binding the two countries would not suspended for any reason.
Al Jaber made the remarks during the inauguration of the first solar power station in Siwa oasis.
The UAE minister was accompanied by Electricity Minister Ibrahim Shaker and Matrouh Governor Alaa Abu Zeid.
The plant was carried out by a 25-million-dollar grant offered by the UAE.
The plant is to produce 10 megawatts of electricity.
