UAE Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdulla bin Zayed Al Nahyan has attended a reception ceremony held by the Bahraini Embassy here yesterday.
The event is part of the Kingdom's celebrations of its National Days on December 16 and 17, marking the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 43rd Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 15th Anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's Accession to the Throne.
Bahraini Ambassador to the UAE Mohammed Hamad Al-Maawda lauded the outstanding fraternal relations bonding the two countries' leaderships and peoples.
He praised the UAE Foreign Minister's attendance of the reception ceremony, in the presence of representatives of diplomatic corps, and UAE political, media, cultural and business figures.
Those present congratulated the ambassador and the embassy staff on the occasion, wishing Bahrain more progress and prosperity.
