Sultan bin Saeed Al Badi, the UAE Minister of Justice, headed the UAE delegation to the 30th meeting of the Council of Arab Justice Ministers which was concluded recently in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
During the multi-session meeting between 17-20 November, the Arab ministers discussed various topics such the implementation of the Arab Agreement for Combating Terrorism, the joint Arab efforts to combat terrorism, money laundering and terror funding as well as the cooperation between Arab countries and the international community on combating terrorism.
Other topics included efforts to unify Arab legislations on human trafficking, a pan-Arab draft bill on combating maritime piracy, a draft bill on setting up a pan-Arab court for recovering looted funds.
The Arab ministers also discussed the implementation of the resolutions of the 54th and 55th meetings of the Executive Office of the Arab Ministers of Justice.
