Cairo - Arab Today
UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Qarqash rejected on Sunday Iran's interference in the domestic affairs of some Arab countries.
Addressing the 144th session of the Arab League (AL) Council at the level of foreign ministers under the UAE, Qarqash urged Tehran to reconsider its policy in the region and take into account the policy of good neighborliness.
"Iran's response to such sincere calls will contribute to stabilizing the region and boosting cooperation with the Arab countries," he said.
The UAE chairs the 144th Ordinary Session of the Arab League Council at the foreign ministers' level, being held at the AL's Secretariat-General in Cairo.
The Arab foreign ministers will discuss a wide range of issues concerning the Arab joint action, mainly the current political, economic and social developments, and the draft resolutions prepared by the permanent representatives during their meetings over the last two days.
