The operations of the UAE embassy in the Yemeni capital Sana'a will be suspended and all staff will be evacuated, said a Foreign Ministry statement Saturday.
According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the Foreign Ministry statement noted that UAE took this decision due to the deteriorating situation in Yemen.
The decision was made after the Houthis undermined the legitimate authority and the political transition based on the GCC Initiative and the outcome of the UN Security Council-backed national dialogue, added the statement.
