The UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) passed on Friday a bill on the protection of families as an essential element of the community.

Up to 29 countries voted for the bill, 14 voted against, and four abstained.

The bill was presented by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and 10 other countries.
