A soldier was shot by unidentified gunmen in Central Sinai on Saturday.
The soldier, shot at his head, was rushed to the Arish Military Hospital to receive treatment.
The assailants opened fire at the soldier, identified as Ali el Saeid, 24, who was at one of the security sites in Central Sinai, a security source said.
