Unidentified men Tuesday set fire to a police station in Hannoville district in western Alexandria governorate.
The fire broke out after those unknown persons hurled Molotov cocktails at the police station, Assistant Interior Minister for Alexandria Security Amin Ezzeddin said.
Acting upon a tip-off, civil protection forces rushed to the scene and managed to extinguish the fire that caused minor damage to the police station, he added.
