Unknown assailants set ablaze four private buses in a town in Sharqiya as they thought the buses were owned by the Public Transport Authority on Wednesday.

Sharqiya's police chief said firefighters contained the fire and prevented it from spreading to other buses on the spot.

There were no reports about casualties.

Initial investigations showed the losses caused by the fire hit 700,000 pounds.
