A delegation of war veterans Saturday visited the site of the New Suez Canal to follow up the workflow at the project.
The 50-member delegation was briefed on the ongoing dredging works and got acquainted with the potential investment returns of the project.
They hailed the efforts exerted by the workers in the project.
Former major general Rushdi Ahmed Ibrahim said the delegation aimed to praise workers who are doing their best to complete the giant national project on time.
