The visit of Secretary General of Palestinian Islamic Jihad Ramadan Shallah and his deputy Ziad Nakhala to Egypt came to discuss ways of boosting Egyptian-Palestinian ties and means to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people as a result of the Israeli siege, said a senior leader of the Islamic Jihad group Khaled el Batch.
In press statements Sunday, Batch said that the two Palestinian officials will discuss during the visit the continued Israeli threat against Palestinians in el Quds and the Gaza Strip along with Israel's Judaization measures.
