Border guards and security forces in Matrouh foiled a bid by 135 persons to sneak into Libya via the Egyptian western borders.

The illegal migrants are Egyptian nationals, except for 13 Sudanese and a Syrian.

They were leaving the country illegally through routes in the Western Desert in Salloum. They are also arrested for being present in a military zone without permit.
