The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) has been committing horrible crimes against the people of Iraq, said the Yazidi activist, Saeb Naif.
In an interview with Iraqi local channel, Naif said that the Islamic State militants executed at least 500 Yazidis after seizing the town of Sinjar, and that some of the victims had been buried alive.
As many as 500 women have been captured as captives, he said.
"All religious minorities in Iraq have been exposed to a genocide war," he added.
