Yemeni President Abed Rabbu Mansour Hadi on Thursday appointed two new commanders for the 22th mechanized brigade in Taiz and the 15th infantry brigade in Abyan.
Hadi, currently in Riyadh, has been making major shakeups among the army's top brass since last week.
He sacked a chief of staff, a deputy chief of staff and three other major generals who are loyal to former president Ali Abdullah Saleh.
