The Yemeni army and public resistance retook Jabal Sawda', overlooking Maswarah district, eastern Sanaa, in an important step in the military operations targeting restoring the capital of Sanaa from the control of militants.

The military achievements came amid a retreat by the militias of Houthis and former president Ali Abdullah Saleh.

The public resistance said the forces continued their march to the district of Noqueel bin Ghilan, near Sanaa.

The successful military operations were supported by the Arab-led coalition airstrikes.
