Foreign Minister Jamal al-Salal met on Tuesday with the Chinese ambassador to Yemen Chang-Hua.
The two sides reviewed the positions of China in support of Yemen, as one of the ten countries sponsoring the Gulf initiative.
The areas of the economic cooperation between Yemen and China were discussed during the meeting, as well as the joint coordination between the two countries in counterterrorism field.
In the meeting, the Chinese ambassador conveyed the congratulations of the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to al-Salal on the occasion of his appointment as foreign minister.
