Yemeni government condemned on Monday the assassination of Prosecutor General Hesham Barakat.

This terror attack targets Egypt's security and stability, an official source at the Yemeni Foreign Ministry said.

He reiterated Yemen's situation that calls for confronting all sorts of terrorism.

He also asserted the importance of joining Arab and Islamic efforts to fight terrorism.
