The Yemeni President's Advisers Panel and Ansarullah agreed to form a joint committee set forth in the item No.16 of the peace and national partnership agreement (PNPA), President Adviser Abdulkarim Al-Eryani said on Tuesday.
According to the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Al-Eryani explained that the joint committee will be formed from all the signatory components to the PNPA and will be tasked with following up the implementation of the items that have not been implemented.
The President's advisers met on Monday with Ansarullah leadership in Sa'ada to discuss the unimplemented items of the PNPA, as well as a number of issues and developments at the national arena.
"We held a lengthy and fruitful meeting yesterday with Abdulmalik Houthi and we discussed the PNPA in particular and ways to abide by and apply all its provisions strictly", Al-Eryani said.
The item No.16 of PNPA commits the signatory parties to resolving any differences on the agreement through direct dialogue within the framework of the outcomes of the national dialogue conference.
According to the item, the negotiation between the parties should be via a joint committee established with support of the United Nations, through which the parties can raise any issues related to the interpretation of this agreement and its implementation.
