Sanaa - MENA
A Yemeni person was killed and four others injured when clashes erupted Tuesday between security forces and southern separatists in Yemen's Shabwah province.
The national security forces rushed to Ataq, the main city in Shabwa province, to disperse protesters who tried to block a road in protest against the killing of a prominent leader in the southern separatist Herak Movement in Aden on Monday.
Meanwhile, Yemeni security sources said an explosive device was defused near a girls' school in downtown Sanaa.
Two other devices were also defused in the Yemeni capital, while five bombs exploded in Sanaa's old quarter, where many supporters of the Houthi movement live, killing a member of the group and wounding another person.
