Yemen's General People's Congress Party secretary general Sultan al Barakany has met Egypt's ambassador in Yemen Youssef el Sharqawy.
The meeting dwelt on developments in Yemen and Egypt.
Al Barakany condemned during the meeting the terror organization that targeted the Egyptian army, expressing sincere condolences to the Egyptian people.
The ambassador stressed Egypt's support for Yemen security and stability, praising ties that bind the two states.
"Yemen is strategic for Egypt's and Arabs' national security," the ambassador said.
