The Yemeni Popular Resistance in Taiz, supporters of Yemeni President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi, announced that it controlled the presidential palace after fierce fights with Houthi militias.

The militias withdrew from the palace, which is almost destroyed after being shelled by Arab alliance planes.

Sources with the resistance said that fierce clashes are still taking place between the resistance and the militias.
