The Yemeni crisis was brought to an end Wednesday after President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi acquiesced to all demands of Houthi rebels that were behind the crisis.
This followed negotiations between Hadi's advisers and representatives of Houthi movement's Ansarullah fighters.
They reached an agreement to defuse the country's political crisis, the CNN reported.
Under the terms of the agreement, a draft of a new constitution is reopened to changes that will grant the Houthis more political power. In exchange, the Houthis agree to release the President's chief of staff and withdraw their militias from key government institutions.
Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Houthi opposition in Yemen, warned Hadi during a televised address on Tuesday that militants would take measures unless the president initiates constitutional changes.
