Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi appointed Major General Jaafar Mohamed Saad as Governor of Aden.

Saad succeeded governor Nayef Al Bakri who was appointed as minister of youths and sports.

In statements, Saad said he has a program for Aden aiming to achieve security and stability and maintain better standards with regard to health and education services in the province.

He called on the Aden residents, all the Yemeni people and statesmen to help him achieve these goals.
