President Abdrabbo Mansour held on Sunday an extraordinary meeting of the National Defense Council to discuss security developments in the country.
The president underlined the importance that the army maintains security in the Yemeni capital and the other provinces as well.
The meeting comes one day after Houthis kidnapped the director of the Yemeni president's office.
