Houthis of coup attempt

Yemeni President Abd-Rabbo Mansour Hadi and the Houthi group reached Wednesday an agreement to bring back to normal the situation in Sanaa and Ma'rib governorates.
The agreement followed two days of consultations between the president, his advisors and the Ma'rib committee, on one hand, and the Houthis, SABA news agency reported this evening.
It provides for amending the draft constitution in keeping with the outcomes of the national dialogue, and in a way that could ensure fair representation for the marginalized segments of the society, including the southern peaceful activists at the state institutions.
Under the deal which takes immediate effect, the Houthi gunmen are to release the presidential chief of staff Ahmad Awadh bin Mubarak, redeploy the gunmen away from the Presidential Palace, and help resume the operation of the state institutions, according to the report.
