Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi extended thanks on Tuesday in the name of Yemeni people to the Saudi-led coalition over the response to his appeal.

In a televised speech, Hadi thanked what he called "the exceptional and strategic" pro-legitimacy coalition that launched Operation Decisive Storm to "rescue the Yemeni people."

The president made the remarks hours after the announcement of ending the military operation.
