Members and supporters of the Lebanese "You Stink" movement called Friday for a march that is
planned to start from Hamra, where the Interior Ministry is located.

The protesters are pressing for the resignation of the environment minister over his failure to tackle the trash file.

Meantime, one man was arrested over setting fire to a motorbike near Beirut's Riad al Solh Square.

A statement by the security apparatus said the man will be standing trial over riot charges.
