About 300 youths from five governorates will stage a march in Ismailia on Friday celebrating the accomplishment of the New Suez Canal - to be inaugurated on August 6, said the Ismailia governor.

The marchers are from Cairo, Alexandria, Beni Suef, Fayyoum and Ismailia, Yassin Taher said on Thursday while inspecting renovations in the governorate in preparation for the inauguration celebration.

Yassin said competitions and volleyball matches will be held on the fringe of the celebration.
