The suicide department at the Zagazig Criminal Court issued life-imprisonment verdicts on Tuesday against 13 elements of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB).

The court also handed down a 10-year rigorous sentence to one element of the group and acquitted three others.

The convicts are accused of staging acts of violence in Qurein village in Sharqiya governorate, joining a banned group, breaching the protest law, possessing fire arms and incendiary bombs and blocking roads.
