Hostages Taken in French Church

A hostage situation is under way at a church in northern France, local officials said Tuesday. 
The church is located in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray in the north-eastern department of Seine-Maritime. 
It was not immediately clear how many people were being held. 
Newspaper Le Figaro cited police sources saying that two people with knives were holding five - including a priest and two nuns, according to the (dpa). 
Regional news outlet France 3 reported that the incident began between 9 am and 9:45 (0700 and 0745 GMT).
