The 34-year-old former Brazil international suffered the injury late in Saturday`s 1-0 win at Saint-Etienne. \"He is out for four weeks,\" manager Remi Garde told L`Equipe. \"It is a big blow. He was in good form against Saint-Etienne and brings a lot of experience to the group.\" Lyon are currently fifth in Ligue, four points behind third-placed Lille.
